We are the choices we have made.
The paths we walk upon
are pointed in directions we mapped out,
while searching for the easy way,
the safe way,
the way we will never have to justify
to those who only see things,
as they are.
We are the choices we have made.
Running from our dreams
at each sunrise, afraid to hold the visions
found there in the dark safe secret passages
of our minds,
dawn pulling us away
(like lovers)
slipping silently apart.
We are the choices we have made.
The hours of our days slide by
as we accelerate our lives,
speed away the years,
desperatly seeking the tomorrow we believe
is there (just around the corner)
of here,
of now,
of the choices...
we have made. |

Good stuff! What a concept for a topic- univeral for the human race. You know, Choices 2, 3, etc. I can see being possible.

Great write of knowing your own direction and choices. We set out our own beliefs when we choose our paths in life, and it is important that we follow through by ourselves and not let other pave the road and tell us to walk this way and that.
