I feel like a slave
Put in shackles every day.
Not free to do what I want to do
Or say what I want to say.
I feel like a lioness
Pacing around in a cage.
Trying to find away out
Of this difficult, intricate maze.
Someone's tugging on my heart strings
Every time I'm alone with him
My poor heart is trying to tell me,
This is just a crazy whim.
Maybe it is, dear heart of mine
But I adore him, can't you see?
So whatever happens in the future,
I'll have this beautiful memory. |
