Watch the red ribbon grow
Its pain exquisite, blocking
Fear of living
Drops of crimson flow
Slow at first, then like a torrent
A torrent of release
Release from greater pain
Pain of torments
Lifes’s great torments
Flowing down the drain
And away into the fog of time
Flowing into the earths
Mighty rivers
Becoming a part of the earth
Ruby essence combining
With the water and the soil
And pain is shared
With the great Mother Earth
And her child is comforted
