Hey there little girl..what 's your name?
How would you like to play a little game?
Are you all alone? No one around?
Come here to me and don't make a sound.
Here , have a bit of a chocolate candy bar..
Look over there, see my pretty car?
I wanna take you for a ride, pretty girl..
I'll buy you anything in the world.

Hey there little girl, come to me..
I won't hurt ya, can't you see?
A nice drive in my car over there..
I will take you just anywhere.
We'll go to a nice place , only us two.
Get to know each other..just me and you.
I'll be good, I'll show you around..
Come on little girl, lets leave this town.

A pretty one you are, don't you know?
Come on my girl, time for us to go.
Thats right, lets not let anyone see..
As we walk to my car stay close by me.
Don't be afraid, let me hold to your hand.
I'm not a stranger, I am your friend.
Let's look the doors tight , and be on our way..
You belong to me now, in every way!

Linda Hill 2002

Authors Note: Talk to your children about the
dangers out there. PLEASE tell them never to get in
a car with a stranger. Awareness could save
a life!

There are a lot of those people out there. Hopefully in later years children will realise the dangers that they face. Great write!

I have daughters and this has made me really want to stress even the more to them the importance of not talking to or going with strangers. This piece is so well done.

This is so sad a situation. A terrible thing that may end in death at the worst. Or scarred for life. You portray this so well Linda. So very well and we need to keep this on our minds and in our hearts. There has to be a way for society to deal with this. Bill xo P.S.
