Stars are spears
thinning the darkness
as quicksilver splatters
and pin-wheels spin by;
Galaxies and clusters
transmute with speed
As we drive our engines
across alien skies.

Science and magic
exchange their faces.
Unreason is born
where logic implodes.
Man in his triumph
is his own religion.
Conquring infinity
but never his soul.

They say a fronteer
is needed to challenge.
That gravity's a cage,
stealing our song.
But I say that Man
is an unfathomed dimension
calling the brave
defying the strong.

The greatest of secrets--are those that lie within.

Al the discoveries and mysteries of the universe are yet to come! Sometimes I try to imagine the year 3000 and cannot. To mind boggling to even contemplate. Bill
