what do you think of this
that
fame can ruin a writer
that somehow
those of us that are scratching
to get down some sort of
important
thing
can get thrown for a loop
by someone actually saying
look here’s some money
for the next two books
seems to me that could mess up
the artistic flow
seems to me that could put
the
wrong kind of pressure on a person
seems to me
living in obscurity isn’t as bad as it seems
is it
I mean I like what I write
for the most part
I have the freedom to write what I want
when I want how I want
so
maybe even if it doesn’t pad the ole account
at least I am free to
explore my own dimensions
as I see fit
nobody looking over my shoulder
no pressure
just
writing
wow kinda takes the pressure off
this thought this freedom from wanting
a piece the literature pie
and
I don’t have to worry about it
because
nobody wants me
it’s liberating actually
it’s wonderful
I love being free
now
is there a publisher in the house?
just kidding

One day, "yes, gimme the book deal", the next, "I am a purist", haha, well written wit, Josie!! If you happen to find that publisher, hog-tie him for the rest of us, would ya?! :D
