MY QUEEN

My life as an lesbian has been a life of pain
people looking and talking so foolishly
wondering why? we place our life in shame
not understanding that we also need to be love
as I hold my women so tight
she cries on my shoulders every night
why? can they not understand that our love is
something special,so true and so vain
I hold my women so tight and wipe her tears
every night,
telling her everything is going to be alright
it does not matter what people say
or the things they do,
because I am going to love her anyway
for the love of my women grows stronger
each and every day
for she is my queen and together we shall pray
that someday people may understand
that whether you maybe
gay or black or white we all belong to the human race
