scrooge by Josephine M Bohen Saturday, November 16, 2002 Share Print Save Become a Fan Christmas is starting to popup everywhere this year I am not getting sucked in I mean it this year I am not going to spend a gazillion dollars I don’t have not that I want to just skip it no I love it really but this year I’m giving words out words only that’s it I’m going to write some short stories for my nieces and nephews take them to kinkos get em all bound up like real books sign em and wrap em I’m going to write some really cool poems for everyone on my list buy some cheap frames sign em and wrap em I mean it words are good words are forever words may not be a tie or tea set or remote control car but hey I got lots of words I can line a few up and hand em out do you think I’ll get booed around the Christmas tree maybe but there’s always the outside chance that the words might mean something outside chance I know I know I’m a scrooge whatever takes one to know one HA

Hahaha, wonderful piece, and idea!! :) Thing is, for me, I haven't even sent Christmas cards out for the last four years, how would I ever get poems done?!
