Closing the Curtain

Like a flowing curtain at an old movie house
the curtain is drawing shut soon.
Closed to the show, this stage, this life,
this being that has been two years, two hours.
Tomorrow the curtain will part again
to a new show, a new stage, a new life.
Like all good movies, no one knows the ending
all we know is from the advertisements.
Don't know how long or good it will be
but it's sure to be entertaining, at the least.
