The Teddy Bear (responding to dreamweavers challenge)

I知 not the man that I was when this day began
I値l try to explain but I知 not sure I can
I looked up to the sky while I was walking downtown
And I saw a big white teddy bear looking down

It just cant be real this thing that I see
It is made out of clouds and its looking at me!
I broke out in sweat as I stood in that place
As the bear just looked down with a smile on his face

Am I losing my mind? Can this really be?
I値l find someone to ask if they too can see
Before anyone else could see this display
The big teddy bear had just drifted away

I got home from a day that had just changed my life
And I started to share this big bear with my wife
But as I hung up my coat, and put my hat on the shelf
I decided its best to keep this bear to myself

I like this one, Jack...but agree it's best to keep it to yourself ~ unless you had a camera to verify it! Great write.

I've seen many things that I wouldn't tell anyone about of course they weren't all in the sky either. Don't see as many anymore since I quit drinking twenty years ago. I'm not suggesting you were under the influence and there's nothing wrong with having an active imagination. It makes for some of the best poetry as this one shows. - Vic
