Photograph taken by, Theresa Jodray

I walked out in the light
But stepped within the darkness
A man who’s sight was nigh
Touched out bringing me from blindness

He asked if facing Christ
What question would you seek?
Thinking within this light I said
None sir but listen peacefully

Learning from the sightless man
Sits softly in my heart
So many sighted men
Would be blinded by his light

So ponder on these words
Inside your minds blind eye
Think long but listen clear
Bringing you to see with sight

Sister! This is so 'hair raising' especially the last stanza. Superb. BTW, I checked 'Emma' out. ;)

Gosh Terri! What a beautiful picture! Oh a Spiritual feeling swept over me when I read the poem. This sightless man and all sightless people will see Jesus. That is the promise of God. Irrevocable, immutable,
eternal. I love your poetry and always have and I love you also. Bill (William Sowman)((((Huggggggggs)))
