Forced to Dream

Some dream and dare the winds of fate
To shake the latch on Heavens gate
And scorn the rest who sit and wait
Some are forced to dream

Some push the bounds of what might be
And tamper with the chemistry
Remix their own reality
Some are forced to dream

Some dream and dance the razors edge
Double down instead of hedge
Trust themselves to cross the ledge
Some are forced to dream

Some dream and heed the sirens call
Yet fear the need to risk it all
Lack the faith and cause the fall
Some are forced to dream

Some dream and find the dream made real
Sign their name and melt the seal
Call fortune through a force of will
Some are forced to dream

Wow, this was great. It is unfortunate that many are forced to dream, without being given time to say goodbye. Yet we know the risks and some pay the price for taking them. Great write once again.
Cheers,
Tim

So true. With dreams there is risk, but without risk, no true appreciation of attainment. Terrific piece.
