Ego
ego umbra ignava sum
Sed olim
olim paulisper
Hic homo tristis et maculosus
Vivebam

In proeliis triginta
Gladium meum ostendebam
Ubi tubae sonuerunt
Cor meus
cum sanguine atroci et inimico
Currebat

Ubi interficiebam
ridebam
Percussi et repercussi
Morti beastia saeve eram
Dum mors
mors
Ad hades me
portaret

Nunc
frusta veritum intellego
umbam inimici mei
Peto
Et ubi inveniuntur
Ab illos averto
Timeo
Timeo
ne veniam
illorum petam

Abivi
umbra tristis et aeger
Ululavi

for those of you who don't read Latin, the translation will follow in a day or so.

My Father understands the tongue that is Latin. I however know very little, though it is something I’d love to be more knowing of. From what Alex has exposed with his translation it looks indeed like my sort of poetry. Ty, Dani

Geez, Roger, I feel like I'm back in the Catholic Church! I used to sneak out, then
hang out at the drugstore or at the Southern Babtist Church where they spoke ENGLISH - and laughed and danced and sang and had a GOOD time (-:

Let's see:

I, I am a cowardly shadow,
But once
Once for a short time
I lived here
A sad and a blood-stained man.

Great imagery.
