Part I, 'Earth'
She stands there,
Wearing that smirk
That she saves for her time
With us.
Her hair is tucked
Behind her ears,
And she stands strong
In front of the tree.
She holds the leaves
And the stones
And she points the knife
And she calls the goddess,
Who fills her.
And her eyes sparkle.
Part II, 'Water'
He shifts his weight
From one foot
To the other.
Of the two girls
On his right
And on his left,
He is not sure
At which to look,
Which to love.
And his eyes
Are as unsteady
As the waves.
Part III, 'Fire'
I stand boldly
And angered,
As is usual
As of late.
Thought that love
Was mine,
But it's been devoured.
I stare instead
Into my steady flames
Which I know will
Never forsake me.
And my eyes
Reflect their passion.
Part IV, 'Air'
He is there,
Somewhere,
And his spot stands empty.
He belongs to us,
And we to him,
But he does not know it yet.
He breezes past us
Every day.
One day, he will
Realize who he is.
The circle will no longer
Be broken.
And his eyes too
Will be full of Knowledge.

I can see your dilemma! Your passion and ardour versus an equally strong presence! One thing for sure ... "The circle shall be unbroken, in the sky Lord in the sky." You have to fight the good fight, and if you lose. Accept defeat. For out of defeat springs ultimate victory. Bill
P.S. Never look back, or your heart may turn to a pillar of salt. (((hugs))) |
