When the good turns to bad
And you lose what you had
You ask the Lord when your sad
That He will now make you glad

So He helps you on this day
To make these things go your way
For in your heart He will stay
But in time you'll astray

Now that the good is back here
You now have nothing to fear
Going through life with great cheer
With all the evil you hear

But the time will soon come
When you will now turn and run
From all the evil that has begun
And ask the Lord to return

It seems in these times through the days
That we forget the Words He did say
But then we come back now to pray
And ask Him now for the way

How many times we get lead
Away from the good that we shed
Back to the darkness we fled
And forget all the Words that He said

But you promise this time is the last
And let evil now pass
As you run back to Him fast
And do the things that He ask

But will He always be there
In all the times when your scared
It was always you without care
But you still come back now in prayer

So as you continue to play
And are lead to astray
Remember He is here everyday
While we still fade away
