| We truly can let things go unnoticed, and some things we notice but not enough to make an impact. I have walked a thousand miles, turned and saw so many things I could have done, could have said along the way but didn’t. Regretfully, some of those things I shall not be able to pass by again. Interesting. It seems to be about an afterlife in the opening stanza, but the rest of the poem looks like an incentive to experience the best of THIS life.
I don't believe in an afterlife, but as for me, I'd like to take your advice to heart and make better use of the time I have. |
