Desert Lullaby

desert highway burn
heated exchange
lost mind road
sand & rocky turn
now called madness
thirsty souls derange
insanity is bold
clouded skies globe
rolling plummeting behold
sun blinded strobe

I wish to turn
this desert scape
into a green
and glorious retreat

I wish to find
a cool escape
into a lush
tropical paradise

I will to meet
the divine blissful
from green forest

I wish to slip
into a peaceful
dreamless sleep

I long to love
the beautiful ones
escaping sun blinded
sad horrid eyes
I wish to flow
a cool oasis
into an arborous
wondrous desert lullaby
