Haiku for Anna Nicole

Soft summer rain comes unexpectedly
I run to shelter
Dry and safe
Beneath your breasts

Gentle breeze wafts as I follow
Bringing faint memory
Familiar scent jogs recall
Of chiliburgers eaten.

Awakened in the quiet night
I blink
Again evacuating your inner being
Morning comes redundantly

Magnificent yard tree speaks silently
It is old
Struggling for life as if your carpet
Daily baptized by your dog

Sighing softly shedding tears
Mound of Venus a toy
Lost in billowing pillows
Of avaricious flesh

Snowflake powder falls
Making tiny lines
Breathing in deeply
False joy of being

Song of despair
Whine of discontent
Soon past fleeting notice
Of dubious achievements

O Icon to low dwellers
Of shallow refinement
I am melancholy
True promise diverted
