|Love truly is an oasis in this desert of life. I like the idea of "cool water eyes" being able to quench her longing. What an image that evokes. Too bad I'm not a painter... only with words, and you've done a fabulous job with them yourself! :)|

|Excellent - really loved that opening stanza - its very good as is the whole thing.
There are secrets that haunt
in the back of her mind,
circling like falcons in the vast desert sky.
So oblivious is he
to the thoughts that churn
behind her eyes.

|This one is well written, I thought I would come by to see what you were writing these days. I had done a few chilling short stories -- noticed that some of them have the coarse language warning to them |

|"Cool water eyes that quench her longing
call to her." Marvellous poem! Wow! You get better and better. You need to start thinking about publication of your work. If
you ever have a poem tht you think can be a song ... let's give it another try. You have such wonderul talent. Bill Murray
