Under the Surface

Its all under the surface,
its just pain under the surface,
pain under the surface of me,
I'm happy on the surface I try not to show
all the currents underneath,
they are ripping me apart,
my heart seeths in turmoil,
oceans of tears unshed,
Perhaps life is a dream,
Perhaps I'm really dead.
I'm caught in a whirlpool,
its pulling me down,
I don't know where down leads to
I dont want to find out.
I'm hanging on the cliff edge
I'm falling off the tree,
As I fall I'm shouting out
Someone please Save me... |

| Good write. I've been here and I can tell you that life will be full of moments like these but there is also great joy to be found. ~Joseph |

A lot of us do this. Your analogies are fantastic, Claire. I think it's really brilliant, this poem. Lovin' the last line, "Someone please Save me..."
It's what we think, but for someone not to see the screaming of help in our eyes is even worse. Great!
Warm Love
