Starlight, Star bright
Hold on now, that's not quite right...
I think I need another rhyme
Something more like wintertime
Let me try this on for size
Then perhaps I'll win my prize
Winter Moon shine on me
Across the miles for love to see
My heart so pure, to him so true
As snow against the midnight blue
In this realm of white and cream
Grant to me this lover's dream
Winter Moon up above
Shine upon my secret love
And even though he's far away
In my eyes is where he'll stay
And hold him close within my heart
Where he holds me while we're apart
