When the world is in silence
just before dawn,
when not even the birds
have awoken in song.
As the mist in the stillness
hangs soft in the air,
there's a peace so profound
in it's presence there.
It's a time of reflection,
a glance in your soul
to pick up life's pieces,
and make them a whole.
To heal the days wounds,
to banish night's fears,
and count all the blessings
received through the years.
It's a time to resolve
all that's now in the past,
And to know that the future
is not a fate cast.
Each day's a beginning,
a start, fresh and new,
on a page that is blank,
and the author, is you... |
