Writing, scribbling, erasing, fixing,
Words and sentences in new ways mixing..
Poetry is the food of the soul,
For when I need to be condoled...
What in the world would posses one to write?
Well for me poetry is the lamp on a dark night.
It soothes all pain,
And makes me feel I can go on once again.
As therapy it is the master,
And saves me from the world's disasters.
It's an escape route, in which to find who you are,
Weather the results be satisfying, or quite bizarre.
It is a way of communicating your emotions,
To give that special person some sort of notion.
It's good at connecting you to others on the net,
Possibly someone you would never have met.
Poetry, like an idividual, is distinct,
And with others feelings they can be linked.
So to me, poetry is a many-faced friend,
Hopefuly to stick with me until my end.
