I May Be Hurting Today... But I'm Smiling Just the Same

Today my body may feel pain,

My muscles may ache,

My movements tend to be slow,

But don't think I'm going to dwell,

On what's ailing me,

Instead I will focus on,

The dreams and goals,

That are within my reach.

I will smile through the pain,

Knowing one day with my Saviour I will be.

I may be hurting today...But I'm smiling just the same.

I will rise up with wings as eagles, I will run and not grow weary, I will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
