I want a real ride, yeah,
gotta take a real ride,
take-me-out-of-my-mind ride,
yeah, outta my blind mind,
yeah, I gotta get a ride...

(I can manage...
speeding off, into
freedom, passenger
to blazing poetic freeways,
mind's breathtaking sunsets
of rhyme, and season.)

I need a ride, yeah,
gotta take a real ride,
bike-between-my-legs ride,
yeah, outta my blind life,
yeah, I gotta get a ride...

(I can manage...
the crash of planes,
into my spirit’s heart,
not well, but I set it
on it’s own road, to
keep it off the soul’s load.)

I need a ride, yeah,
gotta take a real ride,
wind-driven-tears ride,
yeah, get outta my blind-side,
yeah, I gotta get a ride...

(I can’t manage...
the weight of hate,
into my family’s life,
so I teach them to love
true road to the soul,
and respect for the whole.)

I need a ride, yeah,
gotta take a real ride,
leather-wearing-pride ride,
yeah, too fleeting to be blind,
yeah, I gotta get a ride...

Gotta get a ride...

(((erin))) whatta rush! whatta ride! love the intensity of this write...thought at first you were talkin' about the newest rollercoaster cedar point's building...the 420 foot tall, 120 mile an hour (IN four seconds) NUTTY coaster...i am nuts 'bout coasters, but this one is a whole lot past insane!! 120 in four seconds...that will rip your face off!! LOL a motorcycle ride seems perfectly sane after thinkin' about "top thrill dragster" LOL! (((HUGS))) and stay safe! (wear your helmet--one of my dear friends was t-boned while riding his bike, the ONLY thing that saved him was his helmet...he still had brain damage and a whole lot of physical damage, but at least he can walk and talk!! not GREAT, but he's gettin' around, God bless 'im!) love, karla. :)

I like it its got pace and wildness. Sounds more like a song to me though. A velvet underground song in the vein of anything except poor waldo on white light white heat perhaps the excellent sister ray's style would suit it. Great
