Off With Their Heads!

"How should I know?" said Alice, surprised at her own courage. "It's no business of mine."
"The Queen turned crimson with fury, and, after glaring at her for a moment like a wild beast, screamed "Off with her head!"

Surely there is some justice in this world.

Maybe it is all saved for the sneaky ones...to those

who have their idealistic mumbo jumbo unfurled

for all the world to hear or see.

I find it hard to believe that we listen to such nonsense and alibis.

We sit on our couches and beds listening to these high sought speakers

unveil their methods of "fixing" the world or some other kind of lies.

When all they really want is more money.

Maybe I sound cynical and have lost my wide eyed wonder.

But year after year of political promises and speeches written for effect

not for the common good have left me to realize that it is us that blunder.

Why should we sit still for this kind of behavior from our elected officials?

Call me a rebel, call me upset. You can even call me crazy.

I think that next time it comes time to elect these so called helpers...

we should simply call them what they are...and that is for us, at least, lazy.

Vote them out of office, send in someone else.

Will this help? I don't really think so in the short term.

But, if we continue to do this time after time for those who don't

listen, I believe that some where, somehow it will turn the worm...

and our message will finally get through.

S.C.M. Really like your poem and there is much truth in the words you speak. We must hope for the best and pray that, " The Jesters do not send in The Clowns. "

I think this makes about as much sense as what goes on in the Congress??????........
..........................................
"Jest In Time"

Winged idiot strode before his majesty's throne
singing "hark hark O' ring a ding dum dum."
"Rat fool", scoffed the King, "Why comest thou upon the
scene with silly squawks and crazy screams?
Don't you know MOD one that your head is for the asking?"

Winged idiot harkening not to the utterances of the King
pranced within the circle of delight singing "hark hark
O' ring a ding dum dum, hark hark --
SPLOP!
Off went his head!!!

And
the
rolling
head
gathered
no
moss

but drifted into the sea of darkness singing "hark hark
O' ring a ding dum dum", while the MOD courtiers
suppressed their verbal rage
and with one solid stare
in unison willed the King dead.
"LONG LIVE THE KING!"
......or in this case PRESIDENT BUSH!!

I agree with you
Every word coming out of their mouths
is a lie. Because they never do what
they say. Bush! What about 10 billion
dollars for hungry American childern?
Great write!
