~THis poem was not written by me, it was written by my friend Nora, so all reviews, please put out to her, Thanks!~

Words could just be used
To talk amongst yourselves
But when you abuse words
They cut deep and
Leave eternal wounds
Words can be used for love
For words of joy and bliss
But when they are used for hate
What progress can come of this?
Words of hate do damage
Tearing and ripping down
Leaving tears of sorrow
And wrenched hearts
Twisted and all broken
What is meant of this
This pain and maddening anger
What good can come of this?
Love will be destroyed
And relationships will be lost
Friends will become fiends
And loathing all around

I say this because I’ve been hurt
And it doesn’t matter who did it
But my heart was torn today
From careless words of anger
That anger will build
Inside of each person
And love will be cleared
So, please watch your words
And if you think you’ve hurt someone
Apologize and dry their eyes
Because even if you don’t mean
Anything to them
Your words were heard
And taken to heart
No excuses
Say your words of sorrow
And make the day better
For Tomorrow and Tomorrow

Language is versatile. It can heal or harm depending on who weilds it and why. It's a trade off. Great thoughts Nora
