A Dreamers perish I used to be a dreamer And then you came along A sudden shift to reality An unheard of song. I felt a wave of loneliness Even when you were near And now as I stand so far away Nothing can stop my tears I am an empty space Consumed by morbid thoughts And I dwell in an aimless world Passion and pain;sold and bought I feel I can no longer stare At the moonlit sky Or bear to see the shimmer of stars For fear that I may cry Because a dreamer that I was Atleast I was safe in my own thoughts Now I am faced with reality Which even in my mind is a complete rip off.
