Fading Autumn Sky

*Dec.11, 2002.

It's a fading autumn sky
with bare boned branches
sticking their scraggly hands
into the greying sky.

It's a fading autumn sky
with street lamps waking
as the light blue sky
turns a dark hue.

It's a fading autumn sky
fading farther and farther away
into the horizon disappearing
from the greying sky.
