Barren landscape
Isolated mists
Damp chills
Ghostly whispers

So isolated
That tears weep
From a strange hope
Of unknown clarity

Thorns of jagged rocks
Razor blades of saw glass
Acidic bubble bath
A metal dumping ground

Pungent smells
Of a bleeding nature
Open wounds lying bare
Exhausting despondency

Up most despair
Leaving life
Going down the drain
In fading heartbeats
Carrying nature’s winds

But the ferocious storm
Of nature’s ever changing resilience
Recycles decay
From human waste

So in changing attitudes
A pinnacle protrudes
In a changing landscape
To blossom where no man could
