~~~I wonder there’s something in my eye as a tear rolls down my cheek into the endless sea of souls a blinding sand storm blows ~~I whispered of longings ruse the love I lose as another tear falls sand clouds my vision an oasis is hidden ~~I wonder I was emotionless in this mirage of beauty they say it’s a wonderful day my heart said I would disappear into the sands of endless deserts ~~I wonder there’s something in my eye as a tear rolls down my cheek into the endless sea of souls a blinding sand storm blows ~~I whispered there’s something in my eye wind blows upon my face tears stain my sleeve twas only the sandy eventide yet hearts break everyday ~~I wonder there’s something in my eye Copyright © CJ Clark
