We started out guiding and helping along the way,

A friendship formed a path that day.

As we stroll together down friendship's road,

sharing stories of today and of old.

We laughed and talked of the loves in our lives,

seeking guidance and opinions from each other's side.

Well, somewhere along the path of our friendship stroll,

my love for you blossomed and took hold.

I can't explain what it is about you,

a love that's right but wrong, what can I do?

I find serenity when I'm all alone,

I use this time to love you fully although I know it's wrong.

Our paths crossed for reasons unknown,

a love so right, but wrong.

I can only say now that I love you all along,

but I ignored the signs of a love so right, but wrong.

Sometimes timing can be our undoing. It's painful when something wonderful happens, and it's surrounded by so much hurt.
