Was it a beautiful day,
When I was born?
Were the birds singing?
Their lovely songs.

Was the sun shinning,
On that beautiful,
Spring day,
In mid May?

Were the flowers blooming?
Was the scent,
Of blossoms in the air?

Was their peace?
In our paradise ilsland,
So far away, from the war,
That left a mighty roar.

Was there, a celebration of my birth?
Were the town's people,
Singing and dancing?
Carrying on till dawn.

Tell me so, cause,
I need to know,
Lord, I need to know,
For alone, I find myself.

How it was, is still in my mind,
Now that siblings, are so far apart,
Some by distance,
Others by thoughts.

William, I hope you do know and understand that the birds were singing that day. Nature insisted on it. And you will pull things together now, and the birds will sing again for you. Bill
