Dreaming in retrospect again...
can it be, the past is more
alluring than the future?
Does darkness play the role of
mystique coordinator?

It is difficult to envision
elatedness and promiscuity.
Do they exist at times when
blackness is predominant?
I will not submit to such vigilance.

Visualizing the depths of evil
only coerces the fact that good
doesn't exist. We all know that
is unjustified. Morality reinforces
our strengths and weaknesses.

Valid or invalid, I must decide
my destiny. Will it be one of truth
and faith or one of lies and doubt?
Either way, paths chosen must be forgiving.
The only one with me forever is myself.

Deeply spiritual in nature. Words of wisdom we must all ponder, Paul. This one gets me thinking! Hugs:) Sheila

There are some questions that every living, conscious, soul on the face of the planet will have to ask at one time or another no matter their location, education, their level of understanding. Some of the most profound truths are so incredibly simple and yet it is easy not to think about them, but as a dear old friend once said to me (and it still took me 18 months to come to terms with it) "Not making a decision, IS making a decision - and not necessarily the right one." Peace be, Paul. There is an end to every battle and after the dark night of the soul, a dawn.

Paul, just like a coin has two sides with different engravings, so is there two sides in life ... good and evil, and all of us have each side within us. It is the desire and the doing of good that keeps the evil in check. It started in the garden of Eden; or wherever else you want to find it.
It is with us from the beginning and will be with us till the end ... of our lives ...
and of ... eternity ... Bill
