I am cold,
So cold my hands are numb,
And my lips hurt,
I cannot speak,
And my ears are frozen,
I cannot hear the words
You say,
Though I see your lips moving,
And I see in your eyes,
Your anger rise,
As you realize,
I do not understand
A word you say…

I try to tell you,
I am cold baby,
I need you to warm
My soul,
But you don’t seem to know-
And my arms are frozen
To my side,
And I can’t raise them,
To hold you,
My feet won’t move,
They are frozen in the earth,
So I can’t run to you,
Seek your comfort,
Your touch to make me warm,
Damn I’ve never been so cold…

Ice is forming on my eyes,
And I am going blind,
Can’t see you anymore…
Are you still there?

The snow is falling,
And I am being covered,
By soft feathery whiteness,
Blending in so lovely,
With the blackness of my soul…
But you don’t seem to know,
I watch as you walk away-
And I am finally numb
To everything I once felt…

I am no longer cold baby,
No longer anything,
Standing here like an ice statue,
Someone once carved,
And now the party is over,
And it lies forgotten on the
Banquet table…
Melting into puddles,
That drip on the floor…

okay I know i am the weird poet and the rotten apple in this great bunch of poets but i saw this in such a scary way like some one who got murdered and left to be covered in snow. But this could also mean the ehart and feelings that got frozen over and left out to die away either way this was a chilly frighteneing poem that makes you stop and wonder you did an ex eptional jobo n this fantastic poem
