Spring is just around the corner. I'm
so ready.

flowers waiting
showers build
springing forth
sweet colorful smells
birds gracefully sing
honey bees
with combs to weave
in the mist
such wonder of this
flowers show us style
sweet smells give us smiles
perfect joy all the while

Beautifully done. You can smell spring in the air. Miss Texas springs with all the bluebonnets.

i love winter better...spring in texas brings the threat of nasty thunderstorms...hail...high winds...including tornadoes...flooding rain...and intense lightning...not good for a storm phobic like me! but there is beauty in the sight of a robin, the warmth in the air, the budding of the trees, the grateful chirping of the birds, and the flowers (there go my allergies!) are stunning. okay, guess i don't hate spring...but i hate the storms that come along with it! :) ((((HUGS)))) and love, karla. :) this is a beautiful poem, chester...enjoyed very much!
