A Secret Confession

John sat opposite Steve
They were alone in a small room
Discussions of there prisoner was there agenda
The prisoner sat alone in a locked empty room
John wanted to hurt the prisoner badly
Steve was thinking of the prisoners last statement
He wondered to himself, can this be true ?
He and his cohorts were payed to destroy?
Steve pondered while John entered
the prisoners room John began to beat the prisoner
The prisoner began to bleed profusely
As Steve watched the beating
The chimes of his cell phone rang
It was the con man on the other end
Kill him said the con man to Steve
Steve replied yes sir
I got a call from our fearless leader Steve said tersely
John listened intently to Steve
We are to kill the bastard he told
John
Upon hearing the happy news John smiled with glee
John did not hesitate
He removed a revolver from his person
He aimed the gun at the bloodied
prisoner
Pulled its trigger
Shooting the prisoner between his ugly eyes
The now dead prisoners blood turned the room to a crimson red
John was now smiling from ear to ear
Steve left the red room
As he walked briskly to a briefing
room
He could not forget the now dead prisoners final statement
You see the now dead prisoner said
The con man was his benefactor!!

You have shown that not all truth is beauty, and not all death unwelcomed. In-you-face to wake you up, is a great style for this work, and you do it so well.
