Love stories, love poems, inspirational in nature are the core of this volume. Again, taken from individuals around the world, and of course, the authors own contribution..

Alone

Strike away the light
hide away your plight
take away my might
kill away my right
I dont want to
live this way
I dont want to
die this day
I dont like
what I see
I dont want
your gift to me
hypnotised
and dispised
abused
and reused
give in to me
before it's too late
give in now
for darkness I make
full of hate
and full of fear
hold the light
hold the tear
taken back
to where I lay
once again
to my dismay
look inside
in to my eyes
deep inside
it's time to die

do not ask
why I am me
or why it is
my destiny
just know this
that when it comes
you will see
just how much
it means to me
you will see
and cast the stone
but in the end
you're all alone

Well expressed ...I have to agree with your last verse; we have to rely on our own strengths ultimately.

Ben, like your poem. Someone wise once said, " No one is with me forever but myself."
