|Art is an extension of the soul
Some souls whisper, some roar
I applaud and respect any efforts made
Even if I find them tepid
But I would never critize anothers presentation.....it would be like saying...gee lady...u got one fucking ugly baby! lol
but I can think it!!!
lol....ahhhhhhh you got me smiling!!!
This is great!!!

|Poetry is personal. What is great to one, may annoy another. We can correct spelling and/or grammar for the sake of refinement but thoughts, style is 'each artist/poet' for themself. No one has had your experience, your life but you! Fabulously put! Sandy

|rules are made to be broken, and poetry is where breaking the rules is part of the charm. To each his own, metered, footted, or free, that is the freedom of a poet's art.|

|Way to go P. if you have nothing to say, say nothing, that's a motto I try to live by.Fine work!|

|I thoroughly agree with you Pat. When I write and it is good, it pours out. I do use rhyme and meter, but I wasn't taught it.
It flows naturally. Those that have little to say here at AD ... say it in a thousand pedantic ways and never make an impression.
They are fairies that fly around with words that lack meaning and go nowhere except back to their very educated minds. Your words are powerful and influence your readers. Don't ever change the way you produce your poetry. And screw the critics who pretend to be lions and knights with strong credentials. The ones they bring to the table are usually written on toilet paper. God love you! I do! Bill

|excellent:) in my opinion if theres rules its not art; thoughts cant be contained in the brain, they have to be let out on paper or some other medium, so how could they therefore be contained in something as small and base as metre and rhyme? i wish i had more words to say in support of your freind but i think youve said it best anyway|

|P.Gomes, excellent words to live by. I always like to say what comes from the heart. I feel if I make mistakes then they are mine to make. I write first and foremost, " pour moi "|

|Amen! Thank you for saying what is on my mind. You've still got it, and obviously what you have to say (when you do have something to say) is worth listening to. Great Job.
