Infatuation.. I am sure we have all done this.

Ohh God
I love you came from his lips..
I will love you
There is no
Not lies..
Blind emotion..
flowing on emotion..
Believing love to be true ..
Not understanding..
That emotions change..
as people do..
leads to complications..
Not for me..
I never say I love you..
out load..
I try to imprison it
in my mind..
Shoved back into
a hole of darkness..
it tries to climb..
Do not ever utter
those words to me again..
I do not want your vows ..
of undying love..
I do not want promises
that cannot last..
Promises of love..
Simply an emotional ride..
It will bring you up
spin you around..
Dizzy with love..
you will hold on tight..
your resistance low..
you have no where left to go..
so it brings you down fast..
end of ride..
Infatuation blast..
Infatuation over..
No more
No more
This ride is not what I wish..
So please don't let
I love you..
ever pass from your lips..

Very effective write, Erica.
I think you struck a chord we all can relate to. I know I have found myself about to utter those three little words, then pull them back like a pitt bull on a choke-chain.

Hi Erica, If you have never said it, you are lucky. Not all have that will power to hold it back. It comes out and then pain, pain for ever along with love for ever too.

You express your feelings so sweetly and emotionally. Great write.

"Infatuation Blast" is a masterpiece in short lines of meaningful messages. Once one starts to digest them, the imagination strikes many ideas. It keeps beating one heart's drum.
