| Retta, everything turns on the moment. Shade os grey are the ones that push their way to the front of you mind. Colors disappear somewhere in time. You are such a fine writer. I always enjoy reading you. bill |

Nothing is black or white,
Nothing all roses without the thorns,
No clouds without rain,
No sun without pain...
No way for me to stay,
My life has become just;
Shades of Grey
Beautiful use of emotion. Glad things worked out for you. |

Thought provoking piece.
I share conversations with my children about this frequently. Many things in life are "grey"... Love, happiness, success. They come in differing degrees.
But some things are black and white... Honor, respect, character. These things, either you have it, or you don't.
When in your pursuit for the grey things, conduct yourself in a black and white manner, and your life will know little regret.

Retta,
Excellence
"Now I found someone else to love me...
And you want to say I'm so bad,
But,
Where were you so long ago,
When your love made me cry
And it took someone else to wipe away the tears.
When you were so afraid,
It would mean that you were weak... "
This hit home
