surrounded
but still
alone
in my heart
the burdon I carry
apon my chest
will remain
until I rest
till the time has come
to seek my fate
I come to face
with he who makes
darkness to light
pain to might
fear to glee
and you to me
I've given it all
till I have none left
and you take it all
and give it your best
the pain will go
and I will remain
free and without
a title unnammed
to what you have given
I cannot repay
for you have revived
I remember the day
where you brang me back
and made me whole
you gave me life
I payed the toll
of half of what
I kept dear to me
half of what
helped set me free
but imprisioned me
to a life of fear
from people saying
the end is near
I cannot say
what it means to me
that you have reclaimed
my destiny
to live and love
those in my arms
and cherish those
who sing the psalms
you took away
what plagued me so
and just for this
you shall know
I cannot say
what it is for me
all I say is
you set me free
