I never know how to feel
I never know what's real
How can I heal without a guiding hand?
How do I know what I feel?
When all I feel is confused
When all I feel is different
and my angel is in tears
I weep for my sad eyed lady
I feel so helpless
If I could make her smile
If I could mend her heart
mine wouldn't be broken
It breaks every day and still beats.
It has given me no solace, no comfort
My side aches in pain
My head aches from strain
The sad eyed lady cries
I'm not there

Why? Why? Why?

This pain that weighs upon me
pulling me into this melancholy
I call my life
Please sad eyed angel smile again
just for me and my broken heart
so it will mend and can go on
knowing you’re happy again
Just a smile will do
or even a nod and a laugh
I'm not the man I was
but I try much harder to be
Isn't that the reason I cry?

Always! Always?
forever! forever?

nothing is written in stone
except that which foretells
the future of our mad race

Why? Why? Why?
Why do I cry?

Why does my sad eyed angel cry?

I know it's dark but I suppose
it's the outlay of the moon and stars
or perhaps the foreboding of war
or perhaps the loss of love
I need held and I dreamed of
a sad eyed lady
who came to me as an angel
and I lay my head in her lap
I looked into her eyes
and felt loved
and felt so much power
I could move the earth
I could steer the stars
I could look upon the heavens
without fear
I know I can make you happy

I do love my sad eyed lady.
I do love my wounded angel.

The Princess by Stan Law (aka Stanislaw Kapuscinski)

A novel for young adults... or precocious teenagers. This visionary (romantic) fiction will enchant all who are young at heart. A bedtime story about a Boy Coming of Age...
