Here she sits in her pool of shadow Down on the autumn grass A voice she knows is greeting her His footsteps pass Here she rests in her shadow pool Beneath the autumn skies A face she knows has smiled at her and so Ace smiles Here she sits in her shadow frame Held forevermore Smiling into always As my son steps out the door Ace smiles.
