Our True Love For Us

She leant against my wide shoulder;
the divine insignia of lover’s shelter
then closed her eyes and took a nap
amid the long-drawn-out semi light.

I whispered a spongy tune in her ear
She listened with a jolly countenance
I told her of the love and its dynamism
Happily she nodded with appreciation

I breathed in her ear, the air of fresh love,
Which completely invigorated her heart
Then I tickled her essence with my love
and swiftly she discerned our love for us

Tears of happiness fell through her eyes
Tears as regal and precious as river Nile
Along with her, I too cried but with pride
for I am her song and she - the rhythm of my life

She moaned with pity and everlasting delight
She grasped me and held me tightly as in fright
She gazed me with those anxious bright eyes
Then I heard her breathe my name aloud

I appeased her fear and calmed her down
Then pressed her with humble embrace
And told her that our true love for us
Like the soul would never crumble
