I wrote this one day when I was feeling sad and I wondered, "How would I have handled this when I was young?" My kids love it!

I seem to have lost my smile.
Have you seen it anywhere?
I've found my pout, my surprised face, and my face that looks so scared.
But I can't seem to find my smile any ole where!
I found my angry face,
I'll put that one on for awhile,
because it makes me very angry
that I can't seem to find my smile!
I've looked all around.
I've looked up
I've looked down,
though in every place I look,
I only find my frown.
So, I'll just put my frown on then,
and sit down for awhile.
And maybe if I think real hard,
I'll know where to find my smile.
