You're Near

Some have love; others just dream of it. |
|
Soft as a whisper, flutter,
I feel you near in my dreams . . .
quiver . . . knowing what will be
if He has any mercy.
Love will thrive within two hearts.
Pristine, like new fallen snow,
your love has set me aglow.
Melting, arch as yearning screams,
unable to be silenced
until loving is commenced.
Sweetly our kisses, passion,
set aflame two throbbing hearts;
our breathing becomes shallow.
You take the lead . . . I’ll follow.
Love, a crystal, breaks, awakes.
Quickening the pace, we two--
enraptured of each moment--
know passions bittersweet touch.
Enveloped by loving grace,
we conclude what we started.
Misty, dreamy, qualities
will linger once we’ve parted.
You’re a reoccurring dream.
Am I in your dreams tonight?
Are we sharing some delight?
Soft as a whisper, flutter,
I feel you near in my dreams.
It’s my sincere prayer that--
fantasy, reality--
will be merged . . . for you and me
eventually.
