Just a little drinkin' song to cheer everyone up. May the Lady Luck O' the Irish smile on everyone tonight!

the demons run the demons roam
in this land that should be free
the battle hymns
rest on our lips
as the boys march over seas
the day is black
but we wear green
for every eye to see
so meet me at the pub tonight
lets have a jubilee

the lands will soon be red with blood
the mother's tears will stream
so for now raise a glass for our patron saint
and make sure the beer is green!

the papers tell of war and waste
of death and of poverty
so I fold it once
and fold it twice
to make a hat for me
the day is black
so I'll wear print
for every eye to see
so meet me at the pub tonight
lets have a jubilee

the lands will soon be red with blood
the mother's tears will stream
so for now raise a glass for our patron saint
and make sure the beer is green!

so turn of your phone
click off the news
it's time to come and play
forget your fears
and come have a beer
because today is St. Patrick's Day!

the lands will soon be red with blood
the mother's tears will stream
so for now raise a glass for our patron saint
and make sure the beer is green!
