Never Part

Time has gone by like a flash of light
It's slipped through my fingers like grains of sand,
And our friendship has grown deeper and stronger
There's nothing more that I could ever demand.

But we cannot be certain that every day
We'll spend laughing and joking about together,
It's a well known fact in life these days
That good things don't always last forever.

Anytime fate could split us up
And shatter our friendship like it was glass,
It could seperate us forever and ever
It could make our friendship be in the past.

So I decided to let you in my mind
On my thoughts and opinions of you,
Just so that if fate turns evil on us
You won't be left without a clue.

The length of time that I have known you
May be quite short but it's dear to me,
Because you have blocked out my pain
My torment, my anguish, my misery.

I honestly cherish being your friend
And I love you for being who you are,
Your personality, your style, your looks, your ways
In my eyes, make you the brightest star.

I pray that we will be friends forever
That we will never once have to depart,
But if for one reason we eveer had to
The I pray that we'll stay in each other's heart.

If we got seperated, never to meet again
And the memories are all that we own,
Please don't forget me or the times we've had
Because, in our hearts, we'll never be alone.

If I die before I get to see you again
And you'll never know what's in my heart,
Don't cry because I'll watch over you
You know that death can't tear us apart.
