In looking around at our "soon to be" new place back in October when we moved up to Angel Mountain here in COsta Rica, I felt very inspired. Here is what became of that feeling.

On Moving to the Mountain

The house,
jutting out from bare, brown earth,
sits waiting;
uninhabited.
Inhabitants came and went.
I see potential where they saw ugliness.
This house has dreams.
I hear them whispered from the cracks
in the faded, yellow, paint.
I wonder what could be made
if we became partners-the house and I?
Dreams could come true ,
dreams could be shattered,
in the little house with big dreams
hiding in its dingy interior.
